Fighting Robbery and Burglary Charges
In robbery cases, for example, one of the fundamental things the prosecution must prove is that the property was taken by force (robbery) or by force with a weapon (aggravated robbery). In other words, simply being found in possession of stolen property does not prove that property was taken by force.
